Job Summary
Engage employers across the East Texas region to promote Workforce Solutions East Texas and related workforce programs, identify employer needs, and connect them with qualified talent. Build and maintain long-term relationships with employers, coordinate employer meetings and events (in-person and virtual), conduct outreach activities, track outcomes (job postings, training contracts, and referrals), and stay current on workforce programs and labor market trends. Collaborate with internal teams (ES, RESEA, and WSET Program staff) to align employer needs with available resources, while traveling within the service area and providing outreach to drive employer engagement and employment outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in business development, sales, workforce development, or a related field
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the service area
