Job Summary
Business Development Representative to expand market presence for Cornerstone Building Brands’ Shelter Solutions, engaging builders, dealers, distributors, architects, general contractors, and developers to drive growth across multiple sales channels. Responsibilities include building relationships, educating customers on metal building solutions and technology platforms, training customers, supporting onboarding and ongoing account development, identifying new opportunities, collaborating with internal teams, and providing exceptional customer service. Requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, knowledge of metal building systems or related construction products, and a customer-focused, sales-driven mindset. Bachelor’s degree preferred (equivalent experience considered) with 3+ years of customer-facing experience preferred. Full-time role with US base salary in the $80k–$90k range plus bonus and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
- 3+ years of customer-facing experience preferred
- Experience within metal building systems, metal roofing, wall panels, components, or related construction products strongly preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Sales-oriented personality with the ability to engage customers and develop new business opportunities
- Ability to understand and navigate multiple sales channels and customer types
- Experience reading construction drawings or working within the construction industry preferred
- Ability to learn technical products, systems, and software platforms
- Must be able to work full-time (30+ hours/week) and be located in the US
