Job Summary
Business Development Representative responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining direct sales to current and new customers using ERP/CRM systems. Role supports sales growth by managing select accounts, maintaining pricing and product knowledge, communicating new product opportunities to sales colleagues, assisting with RFQs/bids/RFIs, preparing reports, and contributing to quarterly margin analysis. Requires knowledge of CCS products and processes, strong communication and relationship-building skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and a proactive, positive attitude. Experience in inside sales or sales support within a chemical or commodities context is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of successful inside sales or sales support experience; in a chemical or commodities industry preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work with all levels of the organization
