Job Summary
Business Development Representative for Canada-based expansion tasked with driving lead generation, building a Canadian sales pipeline, and securing long-term client relationships in live broadcast production and managed services. Responsibilities include prospecting, cold calling, qualifying leads, presenting at client meetings, trade shows, and conferences, developing proposals and pitch decks, responding to RFPs, maintaining CRM lead databases, achieving quotas, and collaborating on sales planning. Requires 5+ years in multi-camera live broadcast production and livestreaming, lead generation, and proposal design; proven ability to engage C-Level executives; strong communication, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills; and willingness to work in-office in Toronto five days a week. Travel for trade shows, conferences, and client meetings is required. Nice-to-have: bachelor’s degree in related fields and bilingual English/French; experience with HubSpot and MS Office suite.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience with multi-camera live broadcast production and livestreaming for broadcast networks and corporations
- Minimum 5+ years of experience with lead generation and prospect management
- Minimum 5+ years of experience designing and building proposals and pitch decks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to connect and communicate persuasively with potential clients
- Proven ability to interact confidently and professionally with C-Level Executives
- 5+ years of sales or business development experience with a track record of demonstrated, measurable results
- Strong knowledge of the full sales process, from initiation through close
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Must be located in Toronto and available to work in the BMG office 5 days per week
- Nice to have: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French
- Experience with HubSpot CRM system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
- Knowledge of Broadcast Management Group services and Canadian market
