Job Summary
The Business Development Representative at Topsort owns the top of the funnel for a technically ambitious Retail Media product. Instead of a script-heavy role, you’ll drive outbound pipeline through multi-channel prospecting (email sequences, LinkedIn, cold calls) and conduct deep strategic research on target accounts to understand pain points and buying signals. You’ll lead discovery conversations to qualify and articulate Topsort’s value, continuously test and iterate outreach messaging, and engage in field activation by representing the brand at events. Travel is part of the role, and you’ll manage your pipeline end-to-end in HubSpot, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Product to surface insights and unlock growth motions. A successful candidate will be autonomous, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguity-rich environment with 1+ years in outbound sales and a relevant bachelor’s degree.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or similar outbound sales role
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with outbound at scale — sequences, cold calls, LinkedIn prospecting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- CRM experience (HubSpot or similar)
