Research and prospect target accounts across financial institutions, payment processors, and AI agent builders to build the pipeline engine fueling Baselayer's growth. Execute high-quality outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn, and phone, then book qualified meetings and hand off opportunities to the GM and Account Executives. Personalize outreach by understanding each prospect's business and pain points, while turning regulatory and industry moments into structured campaigns with leadership. Maintain clean CRM data and track outreach metrics to continuously improve performance, treating your activity and pipeline targets as your primary scoreboard. This early-career seat offers a clear path to Account Executive for top performers within a team defining the standards for agentic commerce.
Required Qualifications
- 1 years of professional experience
- a track record of achievement in work, school, athletics, or elsewhere
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A self-starter mindset with strong work ethic and resilience
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage a high volume of outreach
- Coachable and eager to learn world-class sales fundamentals
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-expectations environment
- Prior SDR/BDR, sales, or customer-facing experience
- ideally in SaaS or fintech
- Experience with outbound and prospecting tools (e.g. Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, Amplemarket, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Nooks) and CRM (HubSpot)
- A genuine interest in AI agents, fintech, payments, or risk
