Job Summary
As a Business Development Rep on the Business Development Team, you will generate pipeline for Small/Mid-size and Enterprise Sales Teams, qualify outbound leads from Marketing, and convert them into sales opportunities. Key responsibilities include making 50-80 calls per day, processing leads, qualifying prospects based on established criteria, effectively articulating Five9's value proposition, and logging activities into Salesforce.com. Required skills include a Bachelor's degree, cold calling proficiency, familiarity with CRM software, and a proven ability to meet sales quotas.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Work experience in a lead generation setting
- High-caliber cold calling skills
- Familiarity with common office software and CRM
- Proven track record of achieving corporate quotas and goals
- Ability to handle objections and educate prospects in a consultative manner
- Demonstrated curiosity, resourcefulness, motivation, and initiative
- Professional business acumen, strong communication skills, strong presence, and confidence
- Highly team oriented – must be able to accept and contribute new ideas
- Excellent time management with ability to multi-task, prioritize, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience selling enterprise products/services, especially SaaS, or other technology is a plus
