Job Summary

Seasoned Business Development Professional in the commercial construction sector is needed to lead and drive new business opportunities from lead identification through contract finalization. Responsibilities include developing and implementing a comprehensive BD strategy across markets in Ohio and Indiana, cultivating relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and industry professionals, coordinating with marketing and operations to prepare compelling proposals and presentations, managing the full sales cycle (lead to project award), representing the firm at industry events, and collaborating with internal teams to establish standards and pursue opportunities in Design-Build and Construction Management at Risk projects. The role requires strong communication and presentation skills, a proactive networked approach, ability to travel between Columbus, OH and Indianapolis, IN, and a proactive stance on industry trends, DEI outreach, and continuous improvement of the BD process.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5-10+ years of experience in construction business development.
