Job Summary

Drive the US Preclinical and Clinical Solutions portfolio by serving as the primary driver for introducing services to prospective clients and expanding strategy across biotech, pharmaceutical, and CRO segments. Own the end-to-end process from pricing proposals and strategic planning to client engagement, successful project delivery, and contract negotiations for Master Services Agreements and Statements of Work. Identify and secure new business opportunities through consultative selling to key decision-makers, conduct market analysis to identify trends, and represent the company at industry conferences to attract new clients. Achieve revenue targets by building long-term partnerships and collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment of client needs with service offerings.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • PhD preferred
  • Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Biology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Bioengineering
  • 7-10+ years in life sciences, pharmaceutical services, contract research organizations (CROs), or biotechnology environments
  • 5+ years of consultative sales, key account management, or commercial growth roles selling complex CRO/scientific solutions
  • Experience selling early-stage preclinical services AND/OR clinical solutions
  • Proven track record of managing long, consultative sales cycles (6–18 months) involving cross-functional technical teams and procurement departments
  • Consistent history of meeting or exceeding annual quota metrics (typically $3M – $10M+ in annual contract value
  • Demonstrated capability in drafting, negotiating, and closing Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • An active network of decision-makers within regional biotech hubs, pharmaceutical companies, academic research institutes
  • Valid US driver's license
  • Must have a valid US driver's license
  • Frequent business travel (anticipated to be around 50%)

  • 7-10+ years in life sciences, pharmaceutical services, contract research organizations (CROs), or biotechnology environments
  • Business Development: 5+ years of consultative sales, key account management, or commercial growth roles selling complex CRO/scientific solutions
  • Domain Expertise: Experience selling early-stage preclinical services AND/OR clinical solutions
  • Proven track record of managing long, consultative sales cycles (6–18 months) involving cross-functional technical teams and procurement departments
