Job Summary
Own and grow a portfolio of high-net-worth and commercial clients while serving as the primary advisor for complex, high-demand relationships. Generate new net deposits annually and originate commercial, small business, and consumer loans to drive full wallet capture across deposits, credit, and fee-based services. Proactively source new relationships through centers of influence and referrals, converting opportunities into primary banking relationships. Structure and deliver sound, profitable credit solutions while balancing client expectations with disciplined risk management. Deliver high-touch service under pressure, resolving issues decisively and managing demanding clients in high-stakes situations.
Required Qualifications
- Seven to ten years of similar or related experience in relationship or commercial banking
- The ability to motivate or influence internal or external senior level professionals
- Obtaining cooperation and agreement on important outcomes via frequently complex, senior level dialogues
- A professional level of written communication skills
- Demonstrated success in deposit acquisition, loan origination, fee generation, and managing complex/difficult clients
- Strong credit acumen and deal structuring capability
- Executive presence with ability to engage business owners and affluent clients
- Proven producer
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control
- Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators
- Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day
- Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management
- Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance
- Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation
- Specific lifting abilities required by this job include lifting up to 10 lbs
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes
- Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision
- Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions
- Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence
- Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization
- Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace
- Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities
- Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters
