Job Summary
The Business Development Manager mentors Branch-based Outside Sales Representatives to enhance product sales and customer service focusing on goals and maximizing market penetration. Responsibilities include developing specialized sales strategies, coaching sales representatives, training on various sales competencies, and building relationships with key Commercial/Retailers/Builders. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree, over five years of related experience, strong teamwork and relationship-building skills, and thrive in competitive environments while achieving sales goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
- Five plus years of related sales management experience.
- Extensive working knowledge of Commercial/Retail/Builder sales.
- Expert in influential / collaborative sales and negotiation techniques.
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must be able to manage their time to meet the needs of the business.
- Willingness to travel over 50% of the time.
