Job Summary
Business Development & Marketing Specialist will drive marketing, customer engagement, and business development for a precision oncology genomics company. Responsibilities include managing digital presence (LinkedIn, website, emails), creating marketing content, coordinating conferences and exhibitions, lead generation, preparing quotations and commercial proposals, serving as primary contact for clinical and research customers, coordinating onboarding and sample submission, maintaining CRM records, tracking marketing campaign performance, and collaborating with laboratory, scientific, and business teams to ensure timely customer support. Preferred candidates have experience in biotechnology/genomics, familiarity with CRM systems, and understanding of NGS, molecular diagnostics, or precision medicine, with willingness to travel up to 25% and location in Toronto, ON.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, business development, customer support, sales operations, or related role
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Experience with LinkedIn, website content management, and email marketing platforms
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
