Business Development Manager

Job Summary
Build relationships with current and potential new customers while proactively developing a pipeline of project opportunities. Utilize strategic account planning and CRM tools like Monday.com to identify, develop, and manage partnerships with owners, engineering consultants, subcontractors, and material suppliers. Lead the preparation and submission of Requests for Proposals, propose strategic partnerships with engineering firms, and conduct webinars to elevate brand visibility. Represent the company by participating in local, state, and national organizations and attending industry events. Monitor emerging markets and industry trends to recommend new services, contributing to long-term strategic plans for the Business Unit.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of business development and/or sales experience
- Proven track record of developing new business and building long-term client relationships
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with executive-level leaders, facility managers, local municipalities, and public agencies
- Ability to build client relationships based on credibility, value, and trust
- Knowledge of municipal and agency operations, engineering organizations, and facility operations
- Experience developing and maintaining community relationships within the assigned market or region
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with company leadership regarding business development activities, opportunities, status updates, and potential issues
- Ability to occasionally lift and move office products and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds and meet the physical requirements necessary to perform essential job functions
- Ability to work additional hours as needed to support business development activities and organizational needs
- Ability and willingness to travel to local and regional jobsites and offices as required
- Ability to travel overnight for conferences, meetings, and other business-related activities as needed
- Willingness to work in Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field preferred
- Experience within the construction industry or a related field preferred
