Job Summary
Develop and execute sales strategies to market warehouse and fulfillment services, independently generating new business across contract logistics, warehousing, and supply chain solutions. Prospect and nurture key accounts through cold calls, presentations, and in-person meetings while building a healthy pipeline of opportunities, proposals, and forecasts. Analyze customer transportation and warehousing needs to deliver measurable value, collaborating with internal logistics and pricing teams to develop competitive strategies and execution plans. Identify and engage decision-makers to support capital equipment and intralogistics purchasing decisions, driving new business with both new and existing customers. Maintain post-sale account management focused on long-term client satisfaction and continued growth.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in warehousing, supply chain, or the fulfillment industry
- Proven track record in business development — from cold calling and setting appointments to presenting solutions and closing deals
- Strong knowledge of the sales planning process and ability to develop and execute strategic account plans
- Ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels, from front-line contacts to senior executives
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Skilled negotiator with a demonstrated ability to close
- High energy, self-motivated, and genuinely passionate about sales
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also thriving in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is strongly preferred
- A college or university degree in business, marketing, or a related field is an asset
