Job Summary

Business Development Manager for VMware to drive growth across a defined set of partners and accounts. Responsibilities include managing mid-size accounts, increasing vendor share of wallet, building customer relationships, creating tailored value propositions, driving pipeline development and large deals, negotiating pricing and rebates, and collaborating with internal teams and vendors to grow market presence. Requires IT industry experience, VMware knowledge is a strong plus, ability to operate externally, and fluency in English and Romanian. Hybrid work model: 3 days in office, 2 days from home; standard hours 09:00–17:30; benefits include equipment, holidays, health insurance, and meal vouchers.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in IT industry, business development, sales, or product marketing
  • Good understanding of virtualisation, cloud infrastructure, and VMware solutions
  • Experience working with IT vendors
  • Proven ability to develop accounts and grow partner relationships
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently in an external-facing role
  • Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Fluent English and Romanian
