Job Summary
Finix is seeking an exceptional business development leader to grow and manage strategic partnerships with Startup Accelerators and Venture Capital firms, defining and executing a partner strategy across domestic and international entities to drive revenue growth. You will partner with accelerator programs (e.g., YC, Techstars) to embed Finix as the preferred payments solution for cohorts, lead deal execution with VC investors, identify opportunities at events/conferences, articulate the impact of different payment models on cash flow and investment returns, create strategic playbooks for partners to qualify and deploy Finix, cultivate relationships with senior executives, manage multiple internal/external priorities in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with product and engineering to build great customer experiences, advocate for partners in internal discussions, drive initiatives across product partnerships, distribution, and commercial partnerships, maintain a robust pipeline, and keep founders updated on major developments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree minimum
- 10+ years of experience in business development, private equity, or similar roles
- experience with Tier 1 SaaS and technology companies, private equity firms, and/or payments companies at senior levels
- strong commercial orientation and ability to grow complex commercial relationships
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to work with finance, product, engineering, and sales teams
- ability to operate with minimal guidance and handle ambiguity
- MBA preferred (optional as a preference)
- Programming or product management experience is a plus
