Job Summary
Drive long-term business development strategy for the Vascular franchise across South East Europe and South Africa, identifying new market opportunities and strategic accounts to expand portfolio adoption. Act as a subject matter expert providing commercial and clinical guidance to internal stakeholders while building relationships with key opinion leaders, hospital management, and scientific societies. Partner with country sales teams to develop market development plans that increase procedure volumes and patient access, supporting the launch and commercialization of new products and technologies. Develop physician education programs, workshops, and clinical training initiatives to support therapy adoption, continuously assess market dynamics and competitive landscapes to adapt business strategies. Represent Boston Scientific at regional and international congresses and ensure full compliance with all Quality, Ethics, and Compliance policies. Fluent in English and Romanian with extensive experience in medical devices and vascular therapies required.
Required Qualifications
- A degree qualification in a relevant field, preferably within Biomedical Sciences
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Medical Devices or Medical Technology, preferably within Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, Vascular, Peripheral Interventions therapies
- Strong commercial mindset with skills across new and existing business development, sales processes, negotiations, influencing key stakeholders, and managing collaborations
- Strong understanding of the Vascular market, including customer pathways, clinical practice, and healthcare systems
- Effective communication skills and experience collaborating with clinical teams and sales teams
- Initiative-taking, attention to detail, and problem solver
- Ability to work effectively across multiple countries and cultures in a highly matrixed organization
- Self-motivated, Strong collaborator, collaborative, ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally
- Fluent in English and Romanian
- Willingness to travel extensively across the SEE & SA region
