Business Development Manager, US & Canada (Starlink Product Growth)

Job Summary

Execute business development strategies to expand Starlink's consumer presence in the US and Canada through adjacent products, bundled offerings, and new go-to-market models. Identify and evaluate emerging customer acquisition channels such as affiliates, membership programs, and content providers to build initiatives that scale access and adoption. Drive deal execution from opportunity identification through commercial agreements while representing Starlink in external discussions with prospective partners. Collect and synthesize customer and channel feedback to influence product development, pricing strategies, and go-to-market approaches. Collaborate with sales, product, marketing, engineering, and finance teams to structure offerings that combine technical feasibility with strong commercial impact. Conduct ongoing market and competitive analysis to identify consumer trends and emerging technologies relevant to the ecosystem. Report on progress of business development initiatives, presenting insights and recommendations directly to leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management involving consumer technology, telecommunications, utilities, or other subscription-based services
  • 3+ years of experience negotiating commercial agreements and managing execution of revenue-driving initiatives
  • Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time to customer locations and other SpaceX locations
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national
  • Must be a U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder)
  • Must be a Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157
  • Must be an Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158
  • Must be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State

Desired Qualifications

  • Proven experience developing and scaling consumer-focused business models & partnerships in technology, telecommunications, utilities, real estate, or consumer electronic sectors
  • Strong understanding of the US and Canadian consumer markets, particularly in the rural areas, with experience expanding into new channels and solidifying partnerships, bundles, and affiliate deals
  • Demonstrated success in structuring complex business commercial opportunities and driving them to completion
  • Independently motivated with a track record of project ownership and delivering measurable results
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to build business cases and forecast revenue and subscriber impact
  • MBA or master's degree with a business or technical focus preferred
