Business Development Manager
Job Summary
Business Development Manager to lead client acquisition and relationship growth within the automotive insurance division. Responsibilities include prospecting and acquiring new automotive dealership accounts, forecasting objectives for oneself and dealerships, tracking performance, developing F&I product sales and improving overall F&I performance, implementing policies for newly acquired business, conducting sales presentations, and training dealership staff across sales, service, and accounting. Requires two years of F&I, sales management, or general management experience; extensive knowledge of automobile dealership operations; strong presentation and communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel; familiarity with CRM; willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory; reliable transportation; and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Required Qualifications
- Two years of F&I, sales manager, or general manager experience
- Extensive knowledge of automobile dealership operations/processes
- Excellent presentation, communication (written and verbal) and sales skills
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Learn to use the company CRM
- Extensive travel within assigned territory
- Reliable transportation
- Must be a team player, as well as a self-starter able to work independently
