Job Summary
Develop account sales plans for a minimum of 30 target accounts and identify prospects to secure new business through calls, presentations, and proposals. Conduct independent and joint sales calls for active and inactive accounts while partnering with branch and headquarters staff to enhance product knowledge and close deals. Analyze prospect requirements to apply company solutions and establish business community contacts via local networking events. Record all sales activity in the Company database, complete required reports, and respond quickly to customer inquiries. Achieve profit results consistent with predetermined forecasts while traveling to various locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous business development experience
- At least 3 years proven outside direct sales
- Ability to understand and accurately apply a fast-paced, highly competitive, deadline- basic math skills oriented environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet
- Ability to travel to various locations (e.g., customer sites, other company offices)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to all clients
- Ability to advise, counsel, guide and influence the opinions and decisions of other
- Familiarity with the surrounding area
