Job Summary
Business Development Manager for Axil Coffee Roasters’ wholesale division focused on Sydney and surrounding regions. Drive new wholesale acquisition, manage a robust sales pipeline, exceed monthly/quarterly/annual targets, develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow market share, maintain accurate activity forecasts in HubSpot, nurture existing wholesale partnerships, present Axil’s coffee, equipment and training solutions to prospects, and coordinate with operations and education teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences. Build strategic account plans for key customers, represent the brand at industry events and trade shows, and leverage an established network of café owners and hospitality operators to expand activity. Requires minimum 3 years in specialty coffee wholesale sales, strong negotiation/closing skills, CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred), and the ability to manage a sales territory independently. Driver’s license is required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in a specialty coffee wholesale sales role
- Proven ability to win new business and build long-term commercial partnerships
- Established network of café owners, hospitality operators, multi-site groups and coffee professionals throughout Sydney
- Current driver’s licence
- Strong understanding of specialty coffee, café operations and hospitality business drivers
