Job Summary
Develops and grows business in warehousing, distribution, and transportation services across the Southeast by expanding existing customer relationships and identifying new opportunities. Partners with regional operations and cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions for customers, engaging supply chain leaders at food-manufacturing companies. Leads prospect meetings, site visits, presentations, and the creation of formal and informal proposals; analyzes pricing and rate structures to align with profitability; maintains ongoing account management; manages sales pipeline activity in CRM; collaborates with Operations on lead generation, customer inquiries, and solution development; requires willingness to travel at least 50% and supports RFI/RFP responses and contract development with internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, supply chain
- 2–5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role
- Working knowledge of warehousing, distribution, and transportation services
- Experience using CRM tools to manage sales pipelines, forecasting, and reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Ability to cover business expenses prior to reimbursement
