Job Summary
Drive profitable sales growth and expand distribution throughout Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and the Florida Panhandle by managing relationships with foodservice distributors, independent operators, and chain accounts. Execute strategic plans to identify new business opportunities, increase SKU penetration, and exceed sales goals while utilizing CRM tools to track territory activity. Collaborate with internal Sales and Marketing teams to develop forecasts, manage pricing, and present promotional programs to distributor sales teams. Represent the company at trade shows and provide market intelligence on competitor activity. This role reports to the Regional Sales Manager Southeast and requires approximately 50% travel, including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in sales with distributor or consumer products
- Proven success managing distributor relationships and distribution channels
- Solid grasp of sales metrics, performance measures, and technical indicators
- Able to meet fixed deadlines
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of sales metrics, KPIs, forecasting, and performance measurement
- Demonstrable and proven work experience as account manager
- Experience in negotiating/meeting clients' requirements
- Strong Communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong client-focused mindset
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience
- Self-Motivated
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Travel approximately 50%, including occasional evenings and weekends
