Job Summary
Drive international growth as a Business Development Manager for a European furniture manufacturer. Identify growth opportunities, acquire new customers, manage the full commercial process from prospecting to contract negotiations, and build long-term partnerships with furniture retailers, distributors, and other industry players. Collaborate with product development, operations, and customer service to deliver solutions, monitor market trends and competitive developments, and represent the company at customer meetings, trade fairs, and industry events. Requires English fluency and willingness to travel internationally; autonomous, self-driven, and able to work independently in an international, growth-focused environment. This role offers significant influence on the company's commercial development and international expansion within an established European manufacturing context.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or key account management within B2B environments
- Experience in furniture, interiors, home living, or related industries
- Track record of developing new business and building long-term customer relationships
- Strong commercial acumen and customer-focused mindset
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven and entrepreneurial approach with the ability to work independently
- Fluency in English
- Willingness to travel internationally
