Job Summary
Drive Mollie's expansion into Romania as the first dedicated Business Development Manager for the market. Identify high-potential opportunities in the Romanian SME and mid-market segments, build an outbound pipeline, pitch Mollie’s localised value proposition, and manage complex deals from discovery to go-live. Maintain CRM records in Hubspot and provide local market insights to product and marketing teams. Requires professional fluency in Romanian and English, a proven B2B SaaS/fintech sales track record, deep knowledge of the Romanian e-commerce ecosystem, and a hunter mindset with strong negotiation and API/payment-integration storytelling skills.
Required Qualifications
- Professional fluency in Romanian and English
- Proven track record of exceeding targets in a B2B SaaS or fintech sales environment
- Deep knowledge of the Romanian e-commerce ecosystem and local payment preferences
- Self-starter hunter mentality with discipline to build a territory from scratch
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders
- Strong technical aptitude to explain payment integrations and API benefits to prospective partners
