Job Summary
The Business Development Manager for Robotics and Edge AI drives Go-To-Market strategy for NXP’s portfolio in the Robotics/Edge AI space, shaping solutions for the AMEC region through discovery with startups, target accounts, mass-market channels, and ecosystem partners. Responsibilities include uncovering new use cases in Edge AI-enabled markets, defining value propositions, developing solutions with customers, cultivating partner ecosystems, translating requirements into product roadmaps, enabling field sales and CAS teams, delivering market/competitor insights, and coordinating global efforts to win new designs and revenue growth. Requires at least a Bachelor or Master in Electrical/Computer Engineering, 10+ years in related business/technical roles, strong leadership and communication, and travel availability. The role emphasizes building design wins, driving influential stakeholder engagement, mapping capabilities to opportunities in the Americas, and contributing to multi-year growth plans while operating within a high-performance, high-ownership environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in Business Development, Marketing, Product Line Management, Key Account Management/Program Management or Application Engineering
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel > 30% of the time
- Experience with robotics customers and edge AI applications
