Job Summary
Business Development Manager for Raleigh/Durham builds and executes a territory growth plan from scratch in a hunter-led field-sales capacity. You will prospect and generate new opportunities, grow accounts from zero, deepen relationships with property managers, insurance professionals, and referral partners, and coordinate with operations to ensure exceptional client experience from first contact through project handoff. Responsibilities include organizing industry events and trade shows, conducting discovery meetings to understand client needs and timelines, maintaining a robust pipeline in a CRM (HubSpot or similar), and ensuring compliance with safety, driving, and jobsite requirements. The role emphasizes proactive outreach, in-person meetings, and revenue-driven activities to convert opportunities into booked revenue, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes across the assigned market.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in field sales or account management with a hunting focus
- Experience in restoration, construction, facilities management, or the insurance ecosystem is a strong plus
- Excellent discovery, communication, and negotiation skills; confident presenter
- Consistent record of meeting or exceeding quota in a metrics-driven environment
- Valid driver's license and comfort with local travel across the territory
- Proficiency with HubSpot or a comparable CRM platform
