Job Summary
Independently source and qualify leads across commercial verticals including C&I, utilities, remote communities, and defense, then lead client conversations from first contact through discovery, proposal, and term sheet. Support negotiation of commercial documents toward binding agreements while building and maintaining a pipeline from zero with an emphasis on quality over volume. Develop tailored proposals, grant letters, and external communications, and learn the fundamentals of siting, licensing, permitting, and project finance well enough to speak credibly with customers. Act as an ambassador for Radiant's mission, values, and brand in every customer interaction. This role requires 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales, full-time onsite work at El Segundo HQ, and the ability to travel. Candidates must be US citizens or green card holders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related commercial role
- Demonstrated ability to source opportunities independently, not just manage inbound leads
- Comfortable running a full sales cycle with limited supervision
- US Citizen or green card holder
- Ability to travel and attend in-person meetings
- Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- Must work 100% onsite at El Segundo HQ
- Must be able to serve in compliance with U.S. export controls
Desired Qualifications
- Experience selling or developing business around complex hardware, infrastructure, or capital equipment
- Exposure to government or institutional customers
- MBA or equivalent experience in finance, consulting, or an adjacent field
- A genuine competitive streak and a track record of doing things that were hard to do
- Passion for nuclear energy and its role in a carbon-free future
