Job Summary

Business Development Manager driving sales, market development, and distributor/channel management in APAC (Indonesia and the Philippines focus) for saw chain and guide bars, including territory planning, key account engagement, training and marketing support, tender involvement, and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities include achieving sales targets, managing distributors, strengthening end-user relationships, delivering product training, supporting product launches and field events, forecasting, inventory oversight, and ensuring compliance with commercial policies. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of sales/business development experience in forestry or related industrial tools, experience with distributors in Southeast Asia, strong negotiation and communication skills, ability to travel 50–70% across Indonesia and the Philippines, and fluency in English and Chinese (indonesian language skills a plus).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5–8 years of sales & business development experience in forestry, outdoor power equipment, industrial tools, or related sectors
  • Proven experience managing distributors or indirect sales channels in Southeast Asia
  • Experience working across Indonesia and the Philippines is strongly preferred
  • Distributor and relationship management
  • Technical and application-based selling
  • Negotiation and commercial acumen
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently across large, diverse territories
  • Data-driven forecasting and territory planning
  • Fluent in English & Chinese (+ Bahasa Indonesian speaking distinct advantage)
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Indonesia and the Philippines (50–70%)
