Business Development Manager - OM & PPP - Africa

Job Summary
Conduct business development for O&M and PPP activities across Africa, with a specific focus on Aviation and Roads. Develop a strategic roadmap for order intake, build and maintain networks with industry participants in priority countries, and manage project pipelines. Lead tender preparation and submissions, either fully as Bid Manager or by assisting Bid Managers with strategy, costing, and technical solutions. Support commercial prospection, contribute to the commercial action plan, and manage Go/No-go and Risk & Commitments committee preparations. Plan and implement strategic marketing campaigns while monitoring BD performance and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years' proven experience in a sales leadership position
- Fluency in English and French
- Experience in O&M projects and ability to understand technical and operational environments, including EH&S, legal, commercial and accounting aspects
- Experience in bid preparation and submissions
- Ability to develop business plans and business models
- Negotiation skills
- Problem-solving oriented
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent leadership, management and interpersonal skills
- Excellent sense of customer relationship, maximizing customer satisfaction while protecting the knowledge and interests of the Company
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software suites
- Ability to work under pressure and within defined time lines, both as a team member and independently
