Job Summary
Senior Business Development Manager – OEM & Strategic Accounts ANZ responsible for acquiring, maintaining and growing OEM and Strategic Accounts across Australia and New Zealand. Drives sales and marketing objectives, develops and implements account plans, expands local OEM/SA relationships to other Valvoline markets, and collaborates with Marketing, Supply Chain and field staff to maximize volume, profitability and customer retention. Manages pricing strategy, customer engagement with senior decision-makers, and delivers quarterly business reviews; works within Automotive, Heavy Duty/Commercial & Industrial segments as priorities dictate. Requires tertiary qualification, extensive sales experience (10+ years) and strong relationship-building, negotiation and analytical capabilities; travel up to 10%.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, such as business or marketing would be highly regarded
- 10+ years sales within a relevant industry
- Experience in automotive/heavy duty or industrial lubrication preferred
- Competencies: strong negotiation, relationship-building, analytical skills, communication, ability to manage margins
- Travel willingness 0-10%
