Job Summary
Dedicated commercial voice for BUSINESSiQ, owning the magazine, Impact campaign, and Awards revenue. Build and manage a pipeline, open doors, and convert relationships into long-term partnerships with senior decision-makers across the North East. Represent the brand at events and in market, work with editorial to align commercial activity, and drive new business through field and hybrid activity. Require a proven B2B sales track record, ability to hunt for opportunities, strong stakeholder management, self-direction across office/home/field days, and a valid UK driving licence.
Required Qualifications
- A proven B2B sales track record, ideally in media, publishing, or a commercial environment
- A genuine new business hunter who creates opportunities rather than waiting for them
- Existing connections in the North East business community are a real advantage
- Confident with senior stakeholders and able to hold a commercial conversation at that level
- Self-directed, managing your own time across office, home, and field days
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
