Job Summary
Business Development Manager – MICE role based in Sydney or Gold Coast with hybrid work flexibility. Drive proactive development of Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events opportunities across a portfolio of priority MICE properties; partner with General Managers, Directors of Sales and regional teams to grow pipeline, generate revenue and strengthen Accor’s MICE presence. Key duties include identifying and converting new MICE opportunities, optimizing portfolio commercial mix, representing the portfolio at industry events, collaborating with marketing for campaigns and lead generation, monitoring market trends, and delivering regular pipeline insights. Essential skills include 3+ years in proactive sales or business development within MICE/hospitality/travel, strong knowledge of Meetings & Events, ability to build relationships across multi-property portfolios, commercial acumen, excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills, and autonomous, proactive work ethic.
