Job Summary
Business Development Manager – MICE role focusing on proactive revenue generation across a portfolio of priority MICE properties in Australia, with hybrid work between corporate office and home. Responsibilities include identifying and converting Meetings & Events opportunities, coordinating with Directors of Sales and General Managers to optimize portfolio mix, representing the portfolio at industry events, collaborating with marketing for campaigns and lead generation, monitoring market trends to inform sales strategies, and delivering regular pipeline updates and actionable recommendations. Key skills include 3+ years in proactive sales or business development within MICE/hospitality/travel, strong relationship-building and influence across multi-property portfolios, commercial acumen to drive revenue, and excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. The role is based in Sydney or Gold Coast with in-person remote options.
