Job Summary
Develop and implement marketing and business development strategies for Corporate/M&A, Banking and Finance, and Emerging Companies/Venture Capital practices. Create key messages, marketing materials, new practice profiles, and matter lists while managing the full RFP process from initiation to completion. Collaborate with stakeholders to draft responses and presentations, identify new products and processes, and conduct industry research to monitor organizations for opportunities. Based in Birmingham or Novi with regular travel, this role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and requires a Bachelor's degree, proven track record in identifying opportunities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record in identifying business development opportunities
- Knowledge of transactional practices and the competitive landscape of legal services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with attorneys and firm management
- Organized, proactive, detail-oriented, analytical, and possess sound business judgment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A Bachelor's Degree
