Job Summary

Lead cross-functional teams to advance the WinGD partnership in North America and drive strategic marine projects. Responsibilities include coordinating communications with WinGD, AMI, and customers; identifying and securing clients and funding; managing ship-repair, retrofitting, or clean-fuel technology initiatives; ensuring regulatory compliance; and influencing executive decision-making through business cases and risk analyses. Requires deep technical expertise in marine systems, strong business acumen, and 10+ years in the marine sector with at least 5 years in leadership roles. Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; MBA or Engineering Management master’s preferred. Location is Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada. Travel for meetings and industry events may be involved.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; advanced business or leadership training. MBA or Master’s in Engineering Management is preferred.
  • 10+ years in the marine or shipbuilding sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership or project management role
  • Proven ability to secure public/private funding (e.g., SWODF, FedDev, NSPS)
  • Strong track record delivering complex technical projects involving vessel systems or clean marine technologies
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams from concept through to execution
  • Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders and regulatory environments
