Job Summary
The Business Development Manager for LifeScience Solutions will be responsible for developing and growing Trelleborg’s LifeScience Solutions Business Unit by identifying and prospecting target customers within the biopharmaceutical and laboratory markets. The role requires establishing a robust project pipeline, promoting Trelleborg at trade shows, and building collaborative relationships across customer organizations. Successful candidates will have experience in building sales territories and customer relationships, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple business development initiatives independently and within teams. Travel requirements will be approximately 50% of work time.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years experience in B2B corporate selling role
- Experience with bio-pharmaceutical equipment selling preferred
- Strong technical aptitude
- Ability to read and understand technical prints and specifications
- Knowledge of B2B sales and marketing practices
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA quality requirements beneficial
