Job Summary
Business Development Manager for Life Sciences in the Mid-Atlantic region. Responsible for end-to-end development of net-new business with biotech, pharma, diagnostics, and research-facing customers in NJ, NY, PA, DE, MD, VA, WV, or DC. Requires strong hunter mindset, self-generated pipeline, and full-cycle sales ownership from outreach through discovery, feasibility discussions, pricing, quoting, to close. Must communicate credibly with scientific stakeholders and operate with high autonomy in a lean environment. Experience building regional relationships and navigating complex customer conversations is essential. Sponsorship is not available; candidates should reside in the Mid-Atlantic region and be able to work remotely.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle sales experience
- Experience selling into biospecimen, CRO, life sciences services, biological materials, cell sourcing, diagnostics, or other research-facing scientific sales environments
- Experience supporting complex solution sales, feasibility discussions, or customized project scoping
