Job Summary
Business Development Manager, Legal responsible for developing new business in corporate/legal segments, building and maintaining a robust pipeline, engaging with existing customers and whitespace clients, and collaborating with the wider sales and leadership teams to understand client needs and deliver targeted SaaS/legal tech solutions. Requires proactive new business development, solution selling, and consultative sales experience with long sales cycles, plus the ability to engage C-level executives, cross-sell, and achieve revenue targets. Hybrid work model with 2-3 days in the office and potential work-from-anywhere flexibility; focus on law firms and corporate legal departments, with emphasis on SaaS offerings and legal software solutions. Supportive of career development, flexible work arrangements, and a strong customer-centric approach.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional field sales or business development role selling SaaS
- Prior exposure to legal industry or knowledge is a plus
- Demonstrated track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong experience in B2B enterprise sales with active listening, negotiation, presentation, and consultative sales skills
- Well versed in dealing with C-Executives
- Customer-centric approach and commercial acumen
- Ability to cross-sell solutions
- Ability to partner with wider sales team including pre-sales and proposition
- Good organizational and time management skills
