Job Summary
Business Development Manager for a leading international legal services firm. Responsible for serving as the primary BD lead for Insurance and Labor/Employment Law practice areas, managing end-to-end proposal and pitch creation, coordinating with practice leaders, attorneys, and admin teams, and conducting market research to craft strategic pitches and competitive proposals. Emphasis on driving growth through high-value deals, timely submissions, data-informed strategies, and continuous improvement of proposal processes from good to great. Requires 5-7 years in BD/proposal/pitch development, strong writing and communication skills, CRM/experience management capability, and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Analytics, or related field (MBA/J.D./Master's a plus). Must be able to work in Tampa, New Orleans, or Houston with occasional travel up to 20%. A hybrid work arrangement is indicated.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of business development experience with a focus on proposal and pitch development
- Experience in legal services/large law firms is highly preferred
- Stable work history
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Tech-savvy with CRM, experience management, and new technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Analytics, or related field (MBA/JD/MA a plus)
- Ability to work in Tampa, New Orleans, or Houston with up to 20% travel
