Job Summary
Business Development Manager to drive sales in the legal/deposition services space, handling net-new business and an existing book of accounts. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, ensuring delivery quality, following up on leads from field activity and marketing sources, identifying new business, and supporting marketing events. Requires local travel to clients, a valid driver's license within 60 days, willingness for flexible scheduling and occasional overnight travel, and proficiency with CRM and legal databases. Educational requirement is a high school diploma, with a college degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with selling / in sales with one of the following: Court Reporting, Transcription, Trial Services, and Remote Depositions.
- Local travel to current and potential clients. This requires the possession of a valid state driver’s license within 60 days of employment.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.
- Experience selling to the legal market (law firms, corporate legal departments, and insurance companies). Court reporting and deposition experience is a major plus, as is a rolodex of contact to leverage from the onset.
- Proficient with CRM, Reporter Base 8 or other legal database software.
- High school diploma or general education degree from an accredited institution required. College degree preferred.
