Job Summary
Develop and identify sales channels for spices & seasonings; analyze the food industry landscape to determine channels to enter or strengthen presence. Lead market research on sales potential and target customer accounts, collaborate with Marketing to create sales materials and define value propositions for each channel, research industry trends, and identify new product sales channels with Marketing, Sales, and R&D. Take lead responsibility for sales efforts for selected new accounts and train sales staff on market strategies for target channels. Represent the company at industry events and develop relationships with customers to generate leads and exceed sales targets. Build business cases for investments to pursue under penetrated channels/products and manage/expand the prospect database to drive growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business related field
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, interpretation, and team/project management
- Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Must have strong experience in Excel
- Must have experience with VLOOKUP pivot tables
- Teamwork, self-confidence, organizational prowess, and effective communication skills
- Substantial experience with ERP and CRM systems
