Job Summary

Develop new business by identifying and pursuing clients in target markets, focusing on architectural & engineering firms and other consultants. Use CRM to track progress and report on positioning with existing and prospective clients. Coordinate with marketing and preconstruction services to respond to client invitations to bid and propose services. Build relationships through cold calling and networking, identify client requirements, and confirm the company’s ability to respond successfully.

Required Qualifications

  • Motivated to succeed; goal-oriented; results-driven
  • Confident, detail-oriented and organized
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field preferred
  • 5+ years in business development within the building construction industry
  • Consultative selling experience in a business-to-business environment with a proven track record of winning new business with new and existing clients
  • Strong relationship-building skills
