Business Development Manager - Industrial Automation

Job Summary
Drive new business development for the Industrial Controls group, build relationships with prospects and convert them into long-term clients, own tradeshow strategy and execution from planning to post-show reporting, collaborate with engineering, marketing, and project management teams, manage pipeline and leads through CRM, and shape content and marketing strategy alongside the marketing team. Requires 3–5+ years in industrial controls or related field, hands-on experience in technical sales or business development, knowledge of industrial automation and UL 508A panel shop solutions, familiarity with Rockwell Automation, experience managing tradeshows and marketing activities, strong communication and CRM skills, and a valid driver’s license with willingness to travel to client and job sites.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years in industrial controls, automation, or a related trade environment
- Hands-on experience in technical sales or business development
- Knowledge of industrial automation, controls integration, and UL 508A panel shop solutions
- Rockwell Automation product familiarity (preferred)
- Experience managing tradeshows and marketing activities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present at all levels
- CRM proficiency and a disciplined approach to pipeline management
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client and job sites
