Job Summary
Industrial Business Development Manager role focused on growing Spectrum Paint Company’s market share in Nebraska and Iowa (home bases Omaha, NE or Des Moines, IA). Responsibilities include researching industry opportunities, expanding business with existing commercial/manufacturing accounts through relationship-based sales, analyzing market conditions, collaborating with executives and the sales team to meet sales and profit goals, providing market intelligence for strategic planning, recommending products and pricing for coatings in industrial and roofing fields, and performing related projects. Requires strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook, travel, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background and MVR checks; future NACE CIP LV 1 certification is encouraged. Company tools include a company vehicle, laptop, and cell phone; position is eligible for a bonus program.
