Job Summary
The Business Development Manager will manage existing client relationships and develop new client opportunities within target markets in civil construction. Responsibilities include cultivating client relationships, attending local events, and collaborating with internal teams on proposal development and capture strategies. The role requires a strong technical understanding of complex civil projects, excellent communication skills, and experience in business development preferably in civil construction.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 Years experience in business development preferably in civil construction
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Desire and confidence in developing relationships with key individuals within the corporate and operations team
- Proactively engages clients to anticipate their needs and provide support
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of key industries (industrial, manufacturing, power, & renewables)
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite; knowledge of Salesforce a plus
- Strong understanding of sales marketing techniques and presentations

- Must reside near Cleveland or Pittsburgh
