Job Summary
Develop relationships and opportunities for F&R to be considered for projects, increasing brand exposure within the market. Utilize the CRM system to partner with branch and regional leadership on business development plans that outline activity levels needed to meet or exceed branch goals, including maintaining existing clients and pursuing new relationships. Cultivate long-term industry relationships, navigate the sales process to influence decision-makers, and craft specific solutions to help clients reduce costs and risks. Coordinate BD commitments with operational staff, stage internal and external meetings, and track electronic lead sources for potential revenue. Assist in preparing RFP responses, SOQs, and other written submittals while recognizing trends to capitalize on behalf of the company. Participate in industry networking groups and encourage staff engagement in business development activities. Regular local travel within the Charlotte metropolitan area is required, with occasional overnight travel possible.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/related or technical field preferred
- 5+ years of successful sales experience in same or related field highly preferred
- Regular local travel within the Charlotte metropolitan area is required
- Occasional overnight travel may be necessary for meetings, training, or project support
- Valid US. Driver's License and good standing driving record
- Must be willing to participate in and pass F&R's pre-employment screening including a background investigation, drug screening and driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/related or technical field preferred
- Specific relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of successful sales experience in same or related field highly preferred
- Ability to manage numerous assignments and meet deadlines
- Ability to participate in industry events
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to self-start and set/meet self-imposed goals
