Job Summary

Business Development Manager responsible for the complete sales cycle and maximizing revenue by developing deep relationships with suppliers and channel partners. Key duties include creating and implementing supplier initiatives, engaging channel partners, managing credit, order processing and AR collections, pipeline forecasting and inventory management, learning from current BDMs to expand market potential, coaching partners to close deals, coordinating with suppliers for partner training on new products/technologies, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction while traveling as required (approx. 50%). Requires 1-3 years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree in technical or business field is required, with a Master's/Postgraduate degree in Sales preferred. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, organizational and confidentiality skills; ability to work independently and build strong relationships. Proficiency with basic computer systems and ability to adapt to new technologies. Working in a distribution-center environment with potential non-standard hours.

Required Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 Years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's Degree with Technical / Business field of study required
  • Master's / Postgraduate Degree with Sales Field of Study preferred
  • Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed
  • Possesses basic clerical and data entry skills
  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information
  • Able to converse and write effectively in English and a local language
  • Able to create and conduct formal presentations
  • Able to negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively, and close transactions with mutually beneficial results
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others
  • Able to quickly learn new systems and technology
  • Able to use relevant computer system applications at a basic level
  • Working Conditions: Distribution center environment may include: exposure to extreme temperatures; high noise levels; high places; wet and/or humid conditions; and outside weather conditions
  • Frequent Travel Required (50%)
