Job Summary
Drive revenue growth through consultative business development and solutions selling across Heavy Industries (e.g., Metals, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper). Hunt for new market opportunities, build pipelines, and close complex deals while partnering with engineering teams, technical leaders, and senior executives to deliver integrated systems solutions. Lead market development and sales planning using CRM, monitor performance, and implement proactive strategies to achieve targets. This hunter role focuses on new business acquisition rather than account farming, with hybrid work arrangement in Auckland, NZ.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline
- Proven success in business development or sales targeting industrial, capital-intensive sectors
- Technical acumen and ability to engage with engineering teams and technical leaders
- Proven ability to build relationships across diverse organizational structures and stakeholder groups
- Consultative selling mindset with track record of identifying customer pain points and creating competitive advantage
- Full driver's license for field visits
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools
