Business Development Manager - Foodservice

Job Summary
Develop and grow St Ewe Free Range Eggs' foodservice sales by strengthening existing distributor and customer relationships, winning new business opportunities, and expanding presence across the foodservice sector. Lead account development across key channels including QSR, pubs, hotels, leisure, and restaurant sectors; position St Ewe brands as preferred partners through effective relationship management and category leadership. Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and commercial agreements; analyze sales performance and market trends to provide forecasting and actionable insights. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support product development and promotional initiatives, and represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows while traveling to build the network and drive growth.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a sales, account management, or business development role
- Proven experience within the food industry (branded foodservice, food manufacturing, or FMCG)
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical/problem-solving abilities
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
